American Institutional Restoration (AIR) is an organization dedicated to preserving and restoring America's institutional history through the conservation of historic artifacts, public education, research, and museum exhibits. AIR is committed to creating meaningful job training and employment opportunities for individuals experiencing homelessness and other barriers to employment, empowering them to build valuable skills while helping preserve our nation's heritage for future generations.

Jared Rogelstad
Chief Executive Officer/Founder
Growing up within the homeless services system, he experienced firsthand the challenges of housing insecurity and the importance of organizations that provide hope and stability. Along the way, he developed a lifelong passion for the history of medicine and preserving the artifacts and stories that have shaped healthcare in America. Inspired by his own journey, he founded American Institutional Restoration (AIR) to preserve our nation's medical and institutional history while creating meaningful employment opportunities for individuals experiencing homelessness. Through AIR, he is committed to giving back to the system that helped him build a stable future and to creating new opportunities for others to do the same.

I have a passion for helping others and currently work at Roses Way, an adult day program. I also serve as the Chief Financial Officer of American Institutional Restoration (AIR), where I help oversee the organization's financial planning and support its mission of preserving history while creating employment opportunities. In my free time, I enjoy playing both guitar and piano, and I frequently share my interests and experiences on Instagram.
